Welcome to goodteacher.lk (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using goodteacher.lk, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Nature of the Platform

goodteacher.lk is an online directory and marketplace that connects students in Sri Lanka with expert tuition teachers and academic mentors for GCE O/L, A/L, and other academic needs.

We do not provide academic services ourselves and are not a party to agreements between users and providers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

Users must provide accurate and truthful information.

Providers must register using valid credentials and agree to all platform policies.

3. User Accounts

Users may sign up using Google authentication.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Provider Accounts

Providers are responsible for ensuring their profile information is accurate and lawful.

5. Academic Integrity (Critical Clause)

thesis.lk strictly prohibits:

• Writing assignments, theses, or dissertations for submission
• Completing academic work on behalf of students
• Plagiarism or impersonation

The Platform exists solely for guidance, mentoring, reviewing, and educational support.

Violation of this rule may result in immediate account termination.

6. Reviews & Ratings

Only logged-in users may submit reviews.

Reviews are moderated and approved by administrators before publishing.

Fake, abusive, or misleading reviews are prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

thesis.lk is provided “as is”. We are not liable for:

• Academic outcomes
• Disciplinary actions by universities
• Financial losses between users and providers

Use the Platform at your own risk.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts without notice if these Terms or any policy is violated.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
